    KL getaway!

I actually typed KX getaway as my title, hahaha. Maybe it'd be fun to have a weekend getaway from KX. :x kidding la, baby.

I went to KL with KX last weekend and it was pretty awesome to travel overseas with the boyfriend for the first time, heehee. It might not be Bangkok (WHY AM I SO POOR, WHY???!!?!!), but it beats nothing at all!

I'm kinda upset now 'cause there's a huge absense of photos of us. :(

Regret like hell for not taking out the camera more often, but because our schedule was really a big rush and honestly, I am more interested in shopping as well. :( So there's only a feeble number of photos.

    Sorry.

    ***

We woke up really early on Friday to catch the coach.

Still ain't sobered up yet, haha.

    Want to die already..

We took the Grasslands Royal VIP Coach or something like that and it was pretty cool. We get our own personal TV sets (which don't work until we pass the customs, beats me why as well) and the seats are pretty comfortable too (which don't work in Singapore as well).. but I got motion-sickness so it wasn't exactly enjoyable.

It took us approximately 6 hours to reach KL! The coach trip wore us out completely.

The hotel room was pretty sweet.

KX very bad one, always spoil my photo. >:[

    BATHTUB!!! :D

I love bathtubs!! But very saddening.. the heater only worked for like half and hour and we had no more hot water for the rest of the stay.

Bathing with cold water sucks balls.

After settling down.. we went to the KLCC!

(I stole this off the web actually...)

I'm very curious what does the 'CC' means in KLCC, so I googled it and.. it stands for Kuala Lumpur City Center. Hmmmm, interesting.

The boutiques there are basically similar to the ones we have in Singapore, so nothing special.

The great thing is that everything's like on 50% (the exchange rate) + 10-30% off what we have available here, heh.

    Sakae's cheap there!

    My boyfriend hates me.

After combing the entire shopping centre and with more than a couple of shopping bags in hand, we walked.. and walked.. and walked to the Aquaria.

The bad thing about a huge city is that.. every-bloody-thing is so freaking far a p a r t!!! Walk until wanna die.

I was so courageous, I touched a starfish!

    Hello there, Patrick's cousin! :D

I know I look very aunty, but I was freaking out like hell okay?!

I'm braver than my boyfriend, lalala.

You're allowed to pet these sharks as well.

I don't know about you, but there's no way I'm putting my hand into a tub filled with sharks, baby or not. They bite off my finger how??

I think this is the fish that can eat human? P-something one.. paprika? or piraya or dunno what la. They are pretty small though..

[EDIT] I just wiki-ed it and it's called piraya! Apparently they gang up all together to consume people.. awesome. [/EDIT]

Don't know why we walk less than halfway.. then got alot of insects and reptiles (YUCK). I realised that the aquaria and zoo cheats by using a lot insects and reptiles to increase their population count, haha.

Snakes that looks like the Sour power sweets.

Erm.. I think I was trying to capture that tortoise thing there.

    YUCK. I hate spiders.

They gives me the creeps and I dowanna be spider-girl.

    Bumblebee frogs :]

    Super big mealworm.

    A bloated frog.

    Iguana?

Ugly, disgusting, horrible and hairy spider again.

They win second place for the Most Disgusting Creature in the World award. The first place goes to the moths.. obviously.

Fish meat that can last you.. a year.

Hmmmm, I think that poor fish is dead.

This fish looks really really funny because it keeps opening its mouth.

    Scary.

Hello, I am a stingray and I goes very well with sambal!

    NEMO!

Are hermit crabs... what's that in soft-shell crab temaki? :D

    Yum.

My camera was dying so there were lots of bad shots 'cause we were very kan chiong, hahaha.

And do you know what's the worse thing that can happen to you on a trip overseas?

Yes, having your trusty Havainas snap apart.

    :(

And particularly when Havainas doesn't exactly rule the world of flip flops in the country you're at.

But then again, I gained 2 new pairs of shoes out of this, heeheehee.

Berjaya Time Square has an indoor theme park.

The roller coaster looks really really scary.

And of course we didn't play with it, hahaha. We are self-declared pussies :D

Breakfast at the hotel was pretty good. :] But we got too greedy and we wanted a taste of a little of everything.. and we ended up with wayyyyyy too much leftovers, haha. We actually pretended to refill our glasses so as to leave :x

We went shopping around our hotel.. like Lot 10, Pavilion (the Forever21 there is amazing!).. and we also went to Mid Valley Mega Mall which is indeed.. mega.

    The tomyum was YUM.

    So was this.

We were both damn exhausted and dehydrated from all the walking under the sun, but it's worth it 'cause the damage was pretty good, heh.

    Hello there.

The view from our 37th storey hotel room :]

It looks pretty bad in the day though..

Sorry, but I'm au naturel that day. Got very lazy, heehee.

Meet bumblebummerbee, my new friend from KL!

We went home with our heavy baggages and boy, it's really so so tiring la.

But then tiring, still must eat.

So we went to have Ponggol Nasi Lemak, LOL. We ate so much during the trip.. and we had McDonald's for supper every night 'cause they have shaker fries (the bugger cashier forgot our shaker fries on the first night somemore.. dulan!!) and.... sweet chilli! Oh good 'ol sweet chilli.. I miss it (and garlic chilli) so much man!

The trip was pretty good and thank God for my baby otherwise I'd be lost like a fish outta water and also because he bought me losta stuff la, heh. We didn't have the time to travel about for good local food though.. wish we had the time. :\

Baby and I went to watch Eagle Eye today (on our very sunny little island!)! :]

    And he caught me this:

:D His name is Patches (get it?? Stitch? Patch??). So cute lo, it will play the guitar one leh, but then the toy doesn't come with batteries -.- so I hafta go get it myself before Patches can play.

    My boyfriend so pro. xD

Patches (he got damn close to being named like Two dollars, KX is very uncreative), Pumpkin, Bummerbee and Two dollars.. too bad Sleepy's at his crib haha.

I want my bed to be filled with soft toys from KX!

    Happy family, haha.

Okay, I'm really zonked out right now, OUT!
