Random Thoughts #21

Every once in a while, when I spend too much time alone.. I think a lot.

So many things happened during this vacation. Many things that I didn't see happening in a million years.

It's like, sometimes things happen so fast, so unexpectedly.. you have no idea how to retaliate at all. You get hold of this parcel suddenly and out of the blue, it blows in your face, all that you can think of is to run away and hide.

Flee away from all that was happening - all the heartaches and the people you loved and caused you pain.

Because it seems to be the only appropriate thing to do at that moment.




I yearn for the good ol' days.. to forget everything and not let myself be affected with what's not.

But whenever I finally allow myself to let go, something will just have to happen and make me withdraw from you, so that I wouldn't feel the ache.


I'm so tired with all these struggling.

Perhaps.. just perhaps.. This is how it's meant to be. No broken pieces are supposed to be picked up and mended back to how it was like.

Perhaps, this is how our story ends.



Someone please tell me that ain't true.

A short update..

It was an interesting night yesterday.

But Blogger is being a bitch and I can't upload photos and I do not like to use external host to host my photos (because must hard-code the size, very lazy), so photos will only be up when the function gets well again.

Yesterday, I went to run a few errands before rushing down to work.. and realized that there's another private event happening there so I got cancelled. Fuck. But at least all is not lost and I get some compensation for travelling..

With nothing to do and everyone's still at home (AND SLEEPING), I went Balaclava to sit, drink and wait for time to pass.

I always enjoy the fact that I make a point to be nice to people I come across, so yesterday at Balaclava was full with perks. Many many free drinks! :D

After the sun set, the cows went home and my mother was screaming for me to go home.. Persley and Zhiyang finally came around to rescue me and I think they were kinda annoyed by me in the high state. :[

We had dinner at Dian Xiao Er and we went over to Breathless where most of their gang were already there..

Drank more..

Got super duper high..

Got sobered up..

Took a helluva of photos!

And I even sent the birthday boy home. :D A huge responsibility on my part. Ha.

Okay, looking at the photo again just totally freak me out all over again, and I had some problems uploading it, which made me wanna pee in my pants la.

Amelia, Stefanie and I went over to Huixian's crib on Tuesday to play Mahjong after a satisfying dinner at Sakae:


It was a fulfilling night for all four of us were itching all over for a good game of Mahjong for the longest time already, but we just couldn't gather the kakis altogether at one place to do so. So it was like, ahhhhhhh finally!



In between rounds, we, girls being girls, started painting our nails with Amelia being our star manicurist.

Guess which hands belong to who?


So everyone got prettayeeee nails to throw tiles and show off, except for me.

Because I don't move also can spoil my freshly manicured hands one. HAHAHA. Poor Emily had to keep re-doing my nails for me. Thank you very much, babe!


And Stefanie lost her Mahjong virginity to the three of us..

These are her first ever winning tiles! CHECK OUT THE HUAS SHE HAD LA. Wahlao. Win so much from it can.

I'LL HAUNT YOU!


Yes, me. Fuck. I lost so much I had to pay the girls by mortgaging my house.


It was good - having a Mahjong session like this once in a while..

But it is very very sinful. My mouth couldn't stop moving! After some pasar malam food, I had chocolates, Wang wangs, losta candies, half-boiled eggs and to end the night, we ordered McDonald's breakfast.

TMD. If we do this more often, I'll totally just balloon up.



We went home to sleep when the kiddos were on their way to school.. Damn, it was so nostalgic waking up at 6 to wait for Amelia's Daddy to fetch us to our old secondary school.

Stefanie and I made plans to wake up at 2pm and meet up to chill.. But I ended up waking just in time for work and her, when I was already on my way to work. Haha damn loserish please.

After work, which was like 11ish, I rushed off to Zouk, swinging a free bottle of Tuborg from the lovely customers.

Many people were there.. Winner, Ashley, Cherlyn, Eugene.. Amelia, Christine, Joyce, Wanru, Jessie, Cheryl.. Billy, Lester, Ben, Ah Goo, Sean and all.. Yihui.. Jimmy.. Well, that's all that I can remember now. Ha.

Thursday was spent waking up too late and rushing off to work again.

I did an event (I forgot what event it was..) with Kyi and Clare at SPH and it ended early so we girls got to take a break. Shiok shiok!

And then off to sweet Nicole's 21st birthday chalet at Downtown East:

We were kinda late. . . But rather late then never right! HEH. Happy 21st birthday, babe. Stay pretty and happy!




The photos are very scarce in this entry eh. . . I shall take the camera out of the bag more often!

And thou shall be nice to all that are nice to be, thou shall try to be nice to those that weren't very nice to me, thou shall try to bear no grudges, thou shall stop shopping, thou shall try to fix up my biological clock, thou shall be nicer to the parents for they are working very hard to manage my lavish lifestyle, thou shall attempt to whine for a new phone and thou shall end the entry here. This post has been hanging here for quite some time already. . . But I've gotten so busy! I'm so sorry for the people who are waiting for me to upload the photos, but seriously I have no idea how come I can get so busy just chatting on MSN.

Today (Monday, 25th March 2007 [HAHA I SCARED YOU BLIND]) I went Bugis to collect my shoes with Stefanie and then we went town to collect more of my shoes (I GOT TEN PAIRS OF FEET) and shop and chill and watch Spiderwick.

HAHA!

I was searching for Spiderwick photos and that ugly globin came out first.

.. which is not bad, by the way. I like it!




I wanted to make fun of her of something she mentioned just now, but I can't remember. HAHA.

OH YES. CAMEL (CARE-MEL), STEFANIE. HAHAHA.


Okay, sorry.

I've been seeing so much of Stefanie recently, but I swear I'm still not sick of her. :B

And I love my new hoodie. HEHEHEHEH. (And I swear this is the last item I'm purchasing this month. I swear upon my LV bags!)


We've got prettayeeeee sandals from Bangkok and you don't have. :B





On Sunday, 24th March 2007 (in case you didn't notice, dates are all going BACKWARDS), I went to have my facial done 'cause the pimples on le face were too terrible. I was like, having breakouts everywhere, like the forehead, right cheek and the entire mouth area. :(

Air pollution in Bangkok + chalet + period = MAJOR BREAKOUT


So I went to find my 大伯母 for state of emergency help and she squeezed all my pimples until damn pain. WAAA I wanted to die can!

I hope there won't be scars on my face. :( and that I will have flawless skin soon.

And of course you don't get see my pimples on the blog.. Someone invented PhotoShop and he invented it for people to use it for good causes like, covering zits. :]





Saturday, 23th March 2007


I was a good girl and I had dinner with my parents. :] Been long since the three of us did something like this, unless I wanted to get something expensive. Haha. Must be good girl now, if not Mummy won't sponsor my new phone. :D



Met Stefanie and Huixian in town to have dinner and watch Horton.

.. which is very cute and funny! There's this yellow furry thing that makes a funny sound, which can make you melt 'cause it's so super cute. And JOJO IS SO CUTE! Do you know he's voiced by Jesse McCartney??! SUPER DUPER CUTE.

OMG I feel like a bimbo. *shy*


Okay well, anyway.. we went to Acid Bar to chillax after the movie..

It was quiet because the band has left, for it was getting late. :]


SNOWBALL IS LOVE.


And we started cam-whoring. HEHEHEH. The flashes were so hurting our eyes because Sony flashes are so super glaring. :S









And then Stefanie started getting into this cranky photographer mood and I was enjoying the attention so you'll be seeing a helluva of me.

I STILL THINK MY PHONE VERY COOL. HAHA.




I love my arm. Ha.



In case you're wondering, why I am wearing two rings (with one super big ass somemore) on one finger, because it's really uncool.. it's because the big ass ring is too big and it'd slip off my finger. :D


And after that, we went for supper at Geylang 126.. I've been having so much Tim Sum. I need some Japanese therapy soon, realllllllll soon. Think Sakae and Sushi Tei! ;]

I love these girls.

And we should seriously do this more often! :]




Friday, 21st March 2007 was spent at Zouk with Ashley, Cherlyn and Winner. :]


But the music was so cranky.

I left early anyway because I was so bored with the music (NOT THE COMPANY) and I wanted to look for Huixian and gang at DblO but I went to find Zhiyang and Xiaomei at Breathless instead.

Wednesday, 19th March 2007 aka Huixian's birthday



Met up with Joann to watch Step Up 2: The Streets and catch up. :]

AND YES, I FINALLY WATCHED IT. HAHA. It is damn good! You really should go catch it, if you hadn't.. 'cause even my parents caught it already. :x And errr, Chase very handsome. ^^


Chillaxed and cam-whored at Starbucks..

And that girl is prolly having a helluva of fun in Japan while I'm stuck here in Singapore. Can't wait for you to be back, girl! :D

I hope you remembers my gifts. HAHAHA.


And then at night.. I went to the Arena to look for Amelia, Beatrice, Christine, Joyce and Wanru for free drinks. (We is cheapos. HEHEH.)


Christine commented that we looked like we're on some red carpet to enter some gala event and the reporters were snapping photos of us. Me agrees too. HAHA.

And errrr, my posture damn awkward la. Shit like these happens when people around you are vertically-challenged. :x OOOPS HAHA JOKE CHILL.

Monday, 17th March 2007

After Stefanie, Persley, Pingliang and I arrived in Singapore and unpacked.. Stefanie and I went down to the Papers' chalet which is like, an annual thing and also in conjunction with Huixian's birthday. :]


It was a strictly girl thing. We are da men!

And in case you forgot (HOW DARE YOU), Huixian, yours truly, Lecia, Amelia, Stefanie and Joyce!

I just noticed that the photographer's finger was covering the bottom left part of the photos. Hahaha.


My face is a pot of gold.


The birthday girl, and we will never forget about your birthday. :) I hope you like the presents!

Lecia, who was busy shuffling herself between our chalet and her class'. :D


This year, the chalet was kinda quiet.


I guess it was because Lecia wasn't around and Stefanie and Amelia went off to study at McDonald's for quite some time.. leaving just me, Huixian and Joyce to play card games non-stop. Haha. And then when Stefanie and Amelia came back, Amelia left for home..

So we decided to take a walk to 7-11 for fun.


It's nice making the effort to have this chalet getaway once in a while!. :] I like it how we can still hit off even after long hiatuses, regardless in whichever combination.

Next year, everyone must come and stay k!





And I forgot to mention that my results were rather satisfactory. HEH.


I've been really lucky when it comes to my results in school.. Thank you, whoever that's been watching after me up there. I promise I will club less during the study break! ;]



And I am finally done updating about my week. Woooo! So proud of myself. :D :D :D

I'm so sick of all these drama in my life. All these hoo-haa over a somebody is just so stupid. I know I should've put a stop to this long time ago but hey, I've got my dignity yo? It just ain't nice to have all of these happening to me, and I wasn't ready to just let the matter off without a fight.

Call me stubborn, selfish, whatever.. I don't really care.

And don't judge if you don't know the story. There's more than meets the eye and you have no idea at all, baby.
