Today I was in a baker's mood.

So I went around getting ingredients, cutters and containers, and I started to bake!

I hope I didn't scare you. :D That was just an accident that occurred because I forget about the tray of cookies baking in the oven.

The chocolate chips were bubbling from the heat. Damn scary. Hahaha.

I spent so much time baking and baking, I lost track of time and I got too lazy to prepare to go out and join Persley's birthday party; so I went to find Amelia for supper instead. :B

After supper, we went to chillax at one of the void decks and we started seeing many fire engines coming by. Being typical Singaporeans, we went to check out what's the hoo-haa and we saw some man standing outside the window of his 7th storey flat's kitchen.

I thought he was gonna jump down and die, but somehow he got assisted to climb back into the flat by the firemen and that's the end of the story.

Amelia was very embarrassed to be standing amidst the very kpo (and I must say, HUGEEEE) crowd, witnessing the incident at the carpark. Haha.

I am a true blue Singaporean and I think it's the only right thing to do. :D :D :D



And I'm gonna be Santa Claus this Valentine's. :)

Last week of the term

Saturday was spent at Amelia's, along with Huixian and the huge, happy and happening Sim family. We all had a scrumptious dinner prepared by my like, second father, Uncle Sim (HAHAHA), and blackjacked!


And bloody hell, just like last year.. I didn't win any money back (HX like, also never win. And Amelia said her relatives labelled us as "her friends who lost a lot at banluck last year" or something along that line. Sadzxzxzz.). BOOOOOO. (To think about it, I gamble what, I lose what. WTF. So gonna swear off gambling la.)

Huixian had to leave early to catch a movie but I stayed to chillax..

And I swear I'm so gonna win back whatever I lost in these two years next year.. AND SO MUCH MORE.




We got bored and we fled to Zouk, where I signed in to use the toilet and grabbed a sausage, AND we tried to walk to MOS. Haha!

It's pretty obvious what was the keyword at the previous sentence, but well anyway..

MOS, it has been soooooooooooooooo long!



Cam-whored, cam-whored in the toilet. And I'm having sucha love-hate relationship with my camera. Love how slim it is, hate how old and ragged it it (yes, I know my bad). :( Anyhow, a new one is coming to rock my world. WAHAHA.



IN YOUR FACE, BITCH. :D :D :D And my face is so fat, it's killing me. Boohoohoo.



Yes, I know I got that stupid strand of hair in my face. And oh oh, do you realize bangs are gone with the wind? I finally decided to change my look a 'lil.. And I still can't decide on how I want my fringe to be like. :\




And Amelia is sucha sister to me, it's really hard to stay pissed with her for more than an hour. :B Not that she's complaing and I'm not complaining.. much either. Wahaha! LOVE YOU MAYNEE MAYNEE.

Maybe it's because it has been so long, the crowd has became very.. diversified. I can't think of any better words, but well yeah. And BOOOOOOO to that.

And Melvin is so cool, he shared his drinks with us. :D




I spent the morning, bumming around outside with only like 4 hours of sleep, before I rushed out to 姑姑 (my dad's sister)'s place for CNY lunch on Sunday!

And from there, my angbao loot started to look more humane and I shall stop complaining already, because for once.. I'm satisfied with what I have and is gonna get. :B (YT's growing up)

And as you can see from my awkward position, I AM DAMN SCARED. I always feel like babies' necks are friggin' vulnerable and I so don't wanna break her neck man. It won't be a pretty picture.

After lunch, Bernadette and I went town to shop and I revealed all my favourite and (somewhat) secret shops to the darling cousin.


And we shan't just meet up on important occasions alright?



Class resumed on Monday and I woke up late for class. BAH. Still in holiday mood la.

My group somewhat completed our Advanced Mobile Computing project and it is such a relief for it to be over and done with man. Can't be any happier, and oh, ASP.NET project is completed too. HURRAY! :D

Just two more.. Just two more!!! And just to burst my bubble, exams will be around the corner too. :( And with that.. it means holidays!

Holidays = no school

The classmates, Joann, Weiming and Xerxes, and I went town to look for presents for the love ones (in my case, it's myself. HAHAHA.) and they are all fussy wussy (fussy wussy likes shopping but hates to shop!) laaaa. I think we walk about town the entire day, also cannot find anything much to buy one. 8-)


After that, I buzzed off to meet Stefanie the missed.


Today I couldn't stop peeing. And because I still haven't recover entirely form the fucking Viral Flu (or something)...

... with every sneeze and every cough, it makes my bladder burst.

HAHAHAHAHAHA. Amelia, I also know the song. :P

make it come true

I was out with Bernadette earlier and I was glued to the laptop the moment I reached home. And I was like, casually combing my hair with my fingers and then suddenly




FUCKING HELL!

I SWEPT A FUCKING BEETLE OFF MY HAIR AND TO MY LEGGINGS!!!

I got so freaked out (beetles are moths' friends and they are all outta get me. I swear.), I shrieked for my mummy but she wouldn't come save me from the freaking beetle which got shoved to the floor from my jerk.

So I calmed myself down, I tried to rationalize my thoughts and the fact that I'm so much bigger than that fucking beetle, it couldn't actually hurt me and it don't exactly look like a moth.. I went back to Friendstering and I covered the bloody insect with a piece of tissue.

Then like, after a while..

I somehow started playing with my hair again..

and guess what?

FUCKING HELL!

THE FUCKING BEETLE FLEW OR CLIMBED OR TELEPORTED OR WHATEVER BACK TO MY HAIR AGAIN AND IT GOT SWEPT TO MY LEGGINGS AGAIN!!!!!!11

WAHHHH!!!! I wanted to just die okay! And this time I BTH already so I screamed for the maid and she, my knight in shiny armor, walked in while still yakking on the phone, pinched the beetle with her bare fingers and threw it off the window.

She is damn brave and she saved YT in distress, yet again!! ^^

I got so traumatized, I immediately choing to wash my hair super hard and scrubbed St. Ives hard all over. Scrully the fucking beetle gave birth to alot of eggs in my hair then I GG.

This morning (I went to bed at 7am and I woke up at 11am. I WANNA DIEEEEE.) I had this amazing dream.

It was a really very very nice dream. *starts fantasizing*

It is just like how I'd really wish for things to be like. And how things might never be. When I woke up, it still felt so real, I went to check my camera promptly.

Like, -.- Imagine a drowsy YT with bloody poor eyesight feeling around the table for the camera, and squinting at the LCD screen hoping to see some photo, only to get disappoint and return back to the crib, hoping to replay the same dream.

IF ONLY IT'S REAL. THEN SHOIK SHOIK ALL THE WAY.

But HAHAHAHA. Who am I kidding?




Actually I can't really remember what the dream is like, but I know who's in it and it's all that matters. :B :B :B

Okay, I'm going to indulge into slumber and procrastinate blogging about the weekend. Wahaha!




And uh!! I WANNA COMPLAIN.

Valentine's day coming up and everyone's rushing for present ideas, but I ain't got anyone to shower with gifts or a date, for that matter. So I'm very upset. And because everyone's running out of present ideas, they come and seek YT for professional help and advice and it makes YT even more upset to be reminded that everyone's gonna be happy on V-day but her.

Shout out to me if you're spending V-day alone too. :B MISERY SHALL UNIT! (Y)

Mahjong!

HELLO PEOPLE AND HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! (:




I think I look kinda horrid in the above photo, but I just wanna show you my Chinese New Year clothes, which I took out every other morning (before CNY, that is) to admire and only to put back into the closet miserably because they are reserved for CNY.

BOOOOO..

But now I can wear whatever that is inside. WAHAHA.



Before I start backtracking to those really old old old photos.. I'll just describe my CNY first. :D

The eve of CNY was spent at home, just the four of us (including the maid!) and the dinner ended so early, I got so bored.

Thankfully, Clinton was short of one leg to a Mahjong game, so I promptly walked over to his place for Mahjong with he-who-was-in-funny-PJs-because-it's-CNY, Ian and Matthew! Lost money, made new friends and refreshed my memory about NORTH SOUTH EAST WEST. Nice.

And because the grandfather just passed away recently, we couldn't do visiting , so I was stuck at home until Julian, the cousin, asked me over for yet another Mahjong game, with him, Marcus and Weihao or something like that (sorry I forgot).

Lost more money and made more new friends. Super sweet.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I only collected 2 angbaos so far and it's like $8 inside each and I am fucking sad. I lost more than $16 on mahjong lor. Then still got cabfares, dinners and all right. Wahlao. AND THEN MY NEW YEAR CLOTHES LEH?!! Cannot reimburse at all. Super sad seriously. YT needs to do some visiting, INVITE ME TO YOUR PLACE.


And because we had time, we went town to Tampines, hoping to catch a movie and we ended up at Julian's place hoping for angbaos for supper and for visiting Bernadette in bed! Ha.

And then I took a cab (which is omgwtf super expensive with the bloody surcharges) down to Plaza Singapura to catch Kongfu Dunk with Tom, Chengyong, Desmond, Beng something and Garie.

Xiao Lan is very handsome!!! OMGWTF can die.

And oh, the movie is super ridiculous, but you get my approval to catch it because you'll get to watch Xiao Lan the yandao kia slamdunk. Trust me, will melt until you die. (Y)

Because the movie ended so late, I slept at like, 6am and because my phone died alot earlier, I diverted all calls to Tom so in the end, no one could contact me and I only woke up at like, 11.30 pm today (which is Friday). Wahaha. I is the best!!!

And more losing of money tomorrow. Yay!

An irritating kid of my fostered brother who went to illegally switch off my laptop after invading my space for some stupid pinball game.

Stefanie and I went for manicures one fine day and because I couldn't get enough sleep, I was cranky and the sweet girl was very nice. :B What will I do without you, Stefanie?!! Loves many many.



My prettily manicured hands which got damaged like, half an hour after we left the shop, which we went back to savage the finger, and which got damaged again like, 1 hour later and another hour later again.

I is never gonna do french manicure again. I is too violent. :(

Stefanie's looks like strawberry chocolates and mine looks like it came off a shelf at Juicy Couture. Wahaha.

Advanced Mobile Computing

Hey guys!

I know I haven't been updating because well, I've been really really busy recently. I was so busy I had no time to blog-hop, watch shows on MOBTV or even Facebook and Friendster (well, maybe I'm a lil biased towards Friendster).

I have no idea what I've been so busy with anyway. *shrugs* Other than working and shopping, there's pretty much nothing else I can do, isn't it?

But oh wells, whatever.

More about my past weekend when I have the time and energy to upload photos and such. :D Think clubbing, event, manicures and shopping sprees (not that you'll be interested in finding out, but I just wanna say leh)!

Projects are somewhat killing me too. . . with all the deadlines drawing by and NO TIME, NO TIME, NO TIME!!!

Gotta really start cracking man. :\


Actually, I'm supposed to be working on my project now (HEEHEE), but my lecturer ain't here yet... so I decided to take some time off just to pen down some thoughts! :)

Er, recently I did something out of the box and very adventurous.. I had no idea I could actually muster out so much courage. I really surprises myself sometimes. Whatever it is, the deed was done, I'm happy and I have no regrets. . . I guess?

I hope things go well! And I know you have no idea what the hell I am rambling on about *looks at the classmates and closests* and it doesn't matter, but you should just as well wish me luck.

And er, it's 2 weeks to the dreaded day. Sigh.

School's at 8 later. . . I'm so gonna be late (or absent) if I don't get my ass in the crib soon.

The two of us finally spent some quality time together just now, having dinner at Sakae, window-shopping and getting Amelia a makeover from my Carlsberg colleague, Cassandra (Thanks, babe).

Ignorance is indeed, bliss.

Why is it such that one can be so certain that finding out more about a particular something will be so upsetting.. and yet the one still insist, and get oneself hurt and dejected, only to justify the certainty?

I can be so stubborn sometimes. !#$%&%#&*#

And I am off to live in self-denial and await for tomorrow's happy times. :)

When one gets too bored..

I am currently doing an one day job at this company as the receptionist. As the receptionist, all I have to do is sit at the entrance, answer calls and press the bell when customers walk in. So most of the time, I am chillax-ing at the computer, clicking and typing away.

And this gets really really boring after a while.. 'cause I've already done whatever I can do online and I am seriously running out of ideas.

ARGH.

Don't mind me ranting, because there's nowhere else for me to shout out loud. :D


I had a really bad date recently. I didn't want to mention it, because I was hoping to put the incident behind. Ha. Never mind that.. it's not the agenda anyway.

My point is: Sometimes, looks, the entire package and job (I'm sure you know what I mean).. can be so deceiving aye? Someone can easily impress you with a few photos, a short profile, a Friendster smile/message and a casual smile.

Whoever will THINK that someone who is physically-inclined will be a person you wish you never met?

I mean, naturally, we'll start thinking that person will be THE ONE.

Perhaps this is why some people say, "You win some, you lose some." You really can't have everything in the world huh?

That sucks. I want a hamsum, rich, tall, humorous boyfriend.

Before you start scrolling down to my tagboard and working whatever's left of your brain cells on how to flame me for being superficial.. I know I am superficial (and materialistic, for that matter) and I am not ashamed to admit so. The thing is, I can afford to be so, and I don't see any valid reasons for me to not be. So, whatever.

妈，团圆了！

I am finally bored free enough to put a stop to my procrastination and sort out my photos and blog. :D HURRAY!


Anyway, I've also finally decided that I am too free (and too poor, have too little friends and too many things to buy) and I went out looking for jobs like, everywhere. I got short-listed for one, worked for like, 4 days before I decide I couldn't take the environment anymore.. And then I started doing odd jobs like, those one day stuffs. And now I just got short-listed for another one, and I'm going for some product training this weekend!

That pretty much explain why I hadn't been blogging.. Because I always get so wore out after work, I only have enough energy to crawl into my comfy crib.

And I just realized after spending so much time playing with the photos.. that I have a friggin' quiz tomorrow. GG. *sighs* Actually I had a pretty good reason for my hiatus. I have been mugging and doing my projects really, really hard.



I am kidding NOT.


Or maybe I am. :P Whatever it is, I certainly know I'd be getting busier with project deadlines to meet. :( SIGH SIGH SIGH.


School and work aside..

Because the photos are so old already.. I don't see a point in caption much and maybe I'm just too lazy. Lalala.

It's always nice to see all of us take the effort to meet up altogether, six times a year just to celebrate the days we grow older. Though there's actually nothing much to celebrate about being old.. Hmmm.

I know I always say this, but just look how much we're grown man!

The short while at PLAY was really.. an eye-opener. I still find it amazing that everyone shares the toilet and we girls will walk past the guys at the urinals to get to the cubicles. Not that it really matters though aye?



Digressing, this cheese-flavoured HELLO PANDA is really yummy! It's just like the cheese cracker we always eat.. but CUTER.




Okay, back to what I've been doing.. On Saturday (19th January), it was the opening of my aunt (大伯母)'s saloon!


It's situated like, 30 steps away from home. (Y) I'm so going down often for facials. Muahaha.

Meet Bernadette aka Shan and her cousin, which makes her my cousin too, I think, Pearlyn.. and we went crazy cam-whoring..

.. and I worked for Cafe Del Mar's 1st anniversay after that.

(According to group photo) Yours truly, Cassandra, Serene and Jayz; and I can still remember vividly how Cass and I winced while posing with the buckets 'cause they are friggin' heavy. Ha.

In my opinion, the crowd was kinda sad for an anniversary. Shouldn't anniversary parties be overflowing with people and more people?

And my legs are still aching from the walking on sand with boots. I can so feel my calf muscles hardening. Boohoohoo!

I couldn't stop stroking my little cousin's head. HEHEHEH. And after the baby shower, Mummy and I went shoppinggggggggggggggggg and I am a happy girl. :D




School today and I used the most of my brain cells I ever did in school, so I was feeling extremely jaded. But a ride on bus 5 totally perked me up because it's FRIGGIN' COOL.

ZAI RIGHT?!?!?!!!

Call me a mountain turtle (that is if you've seen this bus long time ago) because *squeaks* it was my first time on the F&N bus!

DAMN COOLZXZXZ.

Although it means that the bus capacity will be wayyy smaller (less seats!), it is still very innovative aye! ME LIKEY.

The classmates, Xerxes and Weiming, and I walked around town and I went home a happier girl because I finally bought the watch I was searching island-wide for. YAY! :D
