    2007?

It's almost the end of 2007! And like they always say," If you can't win 'em, JOIN 'EM!"..

So yup, let's take a walk down memory lane yo! :))

(Listen and read! It improves the mood, like totally)

I went through my archives and my life was really really mundane at the start of the year man. Nothing interesting, except for my bob hairstyle.. which in case you didn't notice, is a hellllll lot longer now. :D HAPPY.

And then came my first day at Amara's banquet! It was pretty amazing. Amelia and Huixian practically had tears in their eyes, watching me serve the guests (overstatement. ha).

If you're a new friend of me, you prolly wouldn't know just how gu niang I am la. I'm the kinda girl who wince when soup get splattered onto my dedicate hands, never done housework in my whole life (except if you consider sweeping the floor, arranging tables and chairs and cleaning the whiteboard in school) and such, ya know? So yup, it was such a huge achievement for me being a banquet waitress. Ha.

Hey, didja know I'm actually experienced pro enough to do VIP serving? (Y) Heheheh.

Went for my very first musical at Esplanade with Amelia, Huixian, Megan and Auntie Sim to catch Phamton of the Opera some time in March..

.. which was really good, by the way! HAHA if you didn't get to catch it the other time. :P

And we PAPERS had our once-in-a-very-long-while chalet too.

It never fail to amaze me just how different all 6 of us are and with all the very different schedules, we could still meet up every once in a while.

So maybe a few of us are more close together.. and the others might lead different lifestyles, but we still put in the very least effort to be in contact aye?

(View more photos and details here at the very post)

Well, I'm pretty sure the PAPERS will be reading this, so I just want to give you girls a gentle reminder: take the initiative to inform Amelia or me if you can make it on Fridays (rather than us doing the same ol "meeting later?" thing)! THANKS and PEACE. :D

And then I turned 18! :D :D :DI held a BBQ at Pasir Ris Park and many many people attended the event.

It was the bestest birthday.. yet. For the first time, on my birthday, I could really feel the lovin' from everyone (eh.. something trivia, in 2006, I got my heart broke just one day before my birthday) and oh, I got myself a boyfriend.

I never thought something like that would happen and I'd prolly laugh till my teeth come off if someone casually mention about this happening two years back.

But what the heck, I was happy.

And in the midst, I caught Spongebob Squarepants LIVE with Lecia! I can still remember the moments I went ga-ga over the Spongebob plushie and Lecia simply refused to let me buy it. Haha.

Oh, and my relationship ended before I knew it.

    Clubbed..

.. celebrated Amelia's birthday at her aunt's place..

    .. clubbed..
Met a whole bunch of new people from the West, thanks to Leong. They were one the bestest things that ever happened to me and Amelia. Like Jie always liked to tease, so you girls were always at home using the computer on days we're out partying?

And the grandfather passed away. And the wake saw the closest the Low family could ever get, even though it was just like, 7 days.. But I had fun with the family, with the web-camming and all.. To think about it, having such an occurrence again will be really really rare.

Had Krispy Kreme for the first time ever, flew down from HK by Tom:

Man, I still craveeeee for the donuts glazed to perfection..

    Clubbed again..

.. and I got my flawless right leg scalded from a motercycle's exhaust pipe. which you can check out in horror here and I was so upset, I got pretty sadistic too.

.. and I got approached to model for Wardrobe II at the Zouk!

I can still recall vividly how everyone laughed at my hair. But well, nonetheless, it was a wonderful experience, got myself the Zouk privilege card (I still feel so cheated, they told me MEMBERSHIP, not privilege?!?!) and I would love to do that forever. Ha.

Oh, the aftermath of the hair was horrible.

I didn't think I'd ever head down to the West, but one of those days.. I did. And it was.. quite an experience, no doubt there. ;)

Joyce's birthday celebration was spent taking many many photos:

    Mooncake festival:

I fell down at Amara one of the days and hurt my right palm and lower lip.. and I easily became the joke of the year 'cause I just slipped and fell without any obstacles or such.

Stefanie's birthday was spent at Cafe Del mar with bikinis:

.. and I've finally gotten tired of looking for clubbing posts, because there's just too many. Heck.

Oh, but I've gotta mention this! I clubbed with my coursemates surprisingly to celebrate Ernest's birthday.

.. and I made friends with Yihui in the toilet. Ha. I can still recalling sitting in the toilet with Amelia when Yihui and friends came around, took some photos, left and came back asking if we saw her friend's phone. It turned out to be a false alarm and I causally asked if they were from TP and I exchanged numbers with Yihui. Ha. Damn random.

Halloween (+ Edwin's birthday celebration) was spent at MOS with the whole gang:

Amelia and I had one of the better clubbing days ever.

And I started selling beer at pubs. It ain't a dirty job at all, because the pubs I work in are of higher class (stop thinking of coffee shops). I don't think most of the people agree with that though. Well, night jobs does get it's fair share of unwanted attention yeah.

But to me, it was a good exposure and through the socialising, I have to say I opened up a hell lot and it is a lot easily for me now to make new friends.

So just for the sake of saying.. I don't really care what you may think about my job because it's good money.. and my mother talked to my agency and she has nothing against it anymore ever since. :)

Caught Enchanted, which I won tickets from Nuffnang for having fast fingers.

It was a good movie, I like it a lot and I caught it three times already. :D Ha.

Visited the Singapore Art Museum with Amelia:

Went City Plaza with Yihui to explore and it's cool how we hit off so well..

.. and we went Zouk, with some of the gang there.

.. and we took away Debbie's virgin clubbing experience too. Heheheh.

On one of the school days.. Xerxes drove to school and I went crazy.

    So proud of him. T.T

Went clubbing with Yihui at Zouk.

Met Loraine for the first time..

.. and Yihui lost her phone. The next day, I lost mine too. Sigh.

Got invited to celebrate Ken's birthday in town.

We camwhored like crazy and I met and made friends with many many new people: (according to photo above) Alex, Chris, Zhihao, Benson, Zac, Junwei, Weizheng, (yours truly), Ken, Rebecca and Yeeni.

    ZOUKOUT was fantastic.

.. and Zac did the nicest, silliest and most amazing thing ever.

    And now it's Christmas..

And in just days to come.. it's time to count down to the new year. It had never failed to amaze me just how fast time flies, and once again, it didn't. (I'll update about new year's eve when it's over, WATCH THIS SPACE!)

Throughout 2007, I've grown a hell lot.. for the better and for the worst (as quoted from Amelia: excessive clubbing, smoking, 'chalet') too.

Many guys friends come and go.. with just a handful still in contact, and I'm still ever so glad to have my bestest girls around, for me to turn to in times of difficulties. You have no idea just how much each and every one of them mean to me.

Now that the year's ending.. and with everything pretty much summed up, I just have to make just one more resolution that I really hope I'll keep:

#2 resolution for 2008 (and forever la): Stop falling in love so easily.

Alright, I went back to my last year's post on resolutions and here it some of which I managed to keep:

    7. Have a pleasant 18th birthday!

    11. Grow back my longggg hair

    12. Be nice to everyone and stop being dao to people I know on the streets

Three of them! Not so bad aye?

So.. how was your 2007? Definitely more exciting than mine aye. I'm certainly intrigued to read a post like mine (as in a summary of the year too) so do leave a comment if you have something for me to read! :)

This post was started on 17 Dec and it took me 10 days to procrastinate and take my own sweet time to post up. Love you guys. Cheers for a better 2008, baby.
